Plumerias typically bloom in the spring and summer, and give off various beautiful aromas

Plumeria Care

bulletBloom from almost the beginning of spring (April) to the beginning of Fall (November).  When the plant loses all of its flowers and leaves, it goes dormant in the winter.   Be sure to take the plant inside if there are extremely cold or freezing temperatures.   Minimal water is necessary while it is dormant.  When the weather begins to warm up again, (60F) put it back outside where it will receive morning or afternoon sunlight, and water twice a week and fertilize once a week with a water soluble solution, (such as Miracle Gro).  The leaves and flowers will then grow back where they had previously grown.  ENJOY!!!
bulletAs the growing days become shorter and weather cools off, the plumerias are getting ready for winter dormancy and we will be getting the plants ready for winter by cutting back on fertilizer.  When the leaves start to yellow and drop off, we will water only to keep the soil mix damp (not wet) so the stems do not rot over winter.  Hopefully, these plants will be bigger and better for  Spring - Summer sales.
