************************************************ Bactris gasipaes (Peach palm) of the Benjamin Constant landrace (a spineless productive variety) with ornamental value. This is a collector's palm and not commonly found. Though a tropical palm, it has been grown in coastal Southern California. It has a fruit resembling a peach in appearance (said to be edible by some) but primarily used for production of heart of palm. We offer a variety that is nearly completely spineless. This variety is also notable for it's ability to sucker, producing a cluster of plants (as seen in the picture). These palms are vigorous and fairly rapid in growth (as palms grow). SOLD OUT
************************************************* Clinostigma ponapense: Beautiful blue trunks, tropical and fast growing. These trees are 8 years old from seed and bearing already. SOLD OUT ******************************************************
